It hurt my heart a little listening to the tournament stories because I miss them so much and they triggered all my good memories of them.
What’s the best place to learn about upcoming tourneys now? It would be good if there was a place to see them all, especially the big ones. I likely would have gone to the Michigan one (all of the events sounded great!) in the podcast had I known about it.
There’s a Facebook group called “Pinball Tournaments, Leagues, and Events” that has some stuff up.
District 82, where the Great Lakes Pinball Open was, is holding 3 tournaments in 2 days on June 18-19. This event is dubbed the Triple Flip Open. There’s approximately 20 spots left for the Saturday tournaments and 30 for the Friday evening tournament, with a max of 95 players. I can’t vouch for this place enough, it’s a pretty amazing set up.
