I must disagree with this line of thinking. Junkyard is always fun to play if you are playing it for fun. If you are playing it for score or to win a competition, then video mode all day is probably the best strategy, but not fun.
Forcing players to not play in a certain way doesn’t manufacture fun, it just makes those players look for the next best safe point-scoring strategy.
